Terms of Service for YourFriendBeetle Photography



Welcome to YourFriendBeetle Photography! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) outline the terms and conditions under which you agree to engage our photography services. By booking a session with YourFriendBeetle Photography, you (“Client”) agree to the following terms.


1. Scope of Services

YourFriendBeetle Photography (“Photographer”) will provide professional photography services as agreed upon in the booking contract. These services may include, but are not limited to, photo sessions for events, portraits, commercial photography, or any other photographic services as outlined by the Client in the initial agreement.


2. Booking and Payment

  • Booking: To reserve your photography session, a signed agreement and a non-refundable [specific session price] is required.
  • Cancellations and Rescheduling: Any cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled shoot will result in the forfeit of the 50% of payment. Rescheduling is subject to availability.
  • Payment Methods: Payments are accepted via Cash App or Venmo.

3. Ownership and Usage Rights

  • Copyright Ownership: All images captured during the photography session paid or unpaid remain the exclusive property of YourFriendBeetle Photography, as the creator of the work, and are protected under copyright law. *Exclusive rights / ownership can be discussed if Client does not want their photographs posted or used in advertising / commercial / social media / portfolio / etc.*
  • License to Use: Upon receipt of the final payment, the Client is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the images for personal, non-commercial purposes such as printing, sharing on social media, and displaying. The Client may not sell, license, or modify the images without prior written permission from YourFriendBeetle Photography.
  • Advertising and Marketing Use: The Client grants YourFriendBeetle Photography the right to use any images taken during the session paid or unpaid for promotional, marketing, and advertising purposes, including but not limited to social media posts, website portfolios, and advertisements, without compensation or further approval. The Client acknowledges that these images may be used in any medium now known or hereafter developed.

4. Model Release

By booking a session with YourFriendBeetle Photography, the Client gives permission for the Photographer to use the images taken during the session for the purposes outlined above. If any individuals other than the Client are involved in the photo shoot, the Client is responsible for obtaining the necessary consent and releases from those individuals for the use of their likeness in the images.


5. Editing and Retouching

  • The Photographer will edit and retouch images at their discretion, based on their artistic style.
  • The Client may request minor edits, and such requests will be accommodated where possible, but any significant alterations or changes beyond standard retouching may incur additional fees. Client may NOT re edit images or have them re edited unless given explicit permission otherwise.

6. Delivery of Final Images

The final images will be delivered to the Client via Google Drive or Client Gallery on website [https://yourfriendbeetle.mypixieset.com/] within 2-4 weeks from the date of the shoot. The Client is responsible for downloading and storing the images promptly, as YourFriendBeetle Photography is not responsible for lost or damaged files after delivery.


7. Liability and Indemnification

YourFriendBeetle Photography is not liable for any damages or injuries arising from the Client’s participation in the photography session. The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless YourFriendBeetle Photography from any claims or damages arising out of the use of the photographs, including any claims related to defamation or invasion of privacy.


8. Confidentiality and Privacy

YourFriendBeetle Photography will respect the privacy of the Client and any sensitive information shared during the process. Any personal information provided by the Client will be kept confidential and will only be used in relation to the services rendered.


9. Force Majeure

In the event that the Photographer is unable to provide services due to circumstances beyond their control (including but not limited to natural disasters, illness, or other unforeseen events), the session will be rescheduled at the earliest opportunity.


10. Amendments to Terms

YourFriendBeetle Photography reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be communicated to the Client prior to the next photography session.


11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which YourFriendBeetle Photography operates.

By booking a session with YourFriendBeetle Photography, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service. Terms are subject to change.

Vaccination agreement

Health and Safety of Animals

  1. Vaccination Requirements: In order to ensure the safety of all animals involved, dogs must be up-to-date on all vaccinations prior to the photography session. Clients must have their pet current on vaccinations, including but not limited to rabies, distemper, and parvovirus, before the session can take place. Proof is appreciated but not required.
  2. Illness Disclosure: To maintain a safe environment for both the dogs and the photographer, clients are required to disclose any known illnesses or health conditions of their dog(s) prior to the session. This includes, but is not limited to, contagious conditions, parasites, or injuries. Clients must notify the photographer if their dog has been recently exposed to any illness or has shown signs of illness within the last 14 days.
  3. Right to Refuse Service: The photographer reserves the right to refuse service or reschedule the session if the dog does not meet the vaccination or health requirements, or if there are any concerns about the dog’s health and safety during the session.
